No, I don't mean swifts, swallows or swift swallows;
Nor the fact that it is still rather showery;
Nor even that there were various celebrations all round the country yesterday.
Nope, the true sign of summer being here is that I went out yesterday without a hat and now have a truly sun-burnt head.

Well left it in the car (in my driveway). Obviously.
It was raining when we set out so thought that my rather fetching and up-market cagool would suffice.
Didn't feel that hot either.
Gah!! Every year...
